My dear hubby has his #40th birthday coming up shortly & is asking for an Ipad. He's been a die hard PC user & is in the PC security software field. Ironic actually, since I learned computers, back in the day, on a Mac & then have used a PC for about the last 12 years. So, anyhoo............ this made me think about the Iphone. I know a few people that have iPhones. They love 'em. I don't know much about them but tonight we had 6 couples over and 4 of the couples had at least one iPhone in their possession. I had to ask to see their iPhones & I had to share my new HTC H7 phone. THis brought up an interesting conversation about what their iPhones can do vs. what my HTC H7 phone can do.
iPhone 3.5" screen & HTC H7 has a 4.3" screen.
HTC H7 was faster when we did our own speed tests!
IPhone may have more Apps, but the HTC H7 has XBOX gaming! (lets just say the men...er...boys here were impressed!)
Microsoft licensed their Operating System to manufacturers so buyers have CHOICES in the hardware that fits their needs. Apple does not offer any options.
On the Calendar: HTC H7 shows upcoming events but the Apple iPhone does not.
Microsoft phones are available on 4 different cell carriers. To have an iPhone, you're only limited to one.
iPhone 3g next to HTC H7: HTC H7 has better picture quality, hands down. EVERYONE agreed (all 14 adults!)
IPhone is only available on one cell phone carrier but HTC phones are available on many! Brilliant!
At the end of the day, we had some great discussions about the HTC. I was able to actually impress people with my technology (that was a first!) HTC really has a great image in everyones mind! But.....Lets just get back to the whole Xbox thing........ Yeah, the boys played games on my phone and I had a hard time getting it back. I do believe that some of these boys might check the HTC H7 out!
