This is a lightly scented candle that smells "fresh" (however fresh smells to you!) Super soft, flickering candle, invites in the green of spring. The only thing that this candle can't do is TELL WINTER TO GO AWAY! After a 50+ degree day Monday, clouds and rain Tuesday with thunder & lightning, to freezing rain & 3 inches of snow Wednesday, the cold is back to stay for the weekend. I'm done, I'm moving to where this candle will take me when I close my eyes. It's a soft smell, not perfumy and over powering. It sets the mood. Sigh. I haven't been using candles often, after getting out of the habit with little kids, but now that my kids are grown, I'm handing out coupons tomorrow to my staff and stopping to get MORE! |
I cleaned the glass doors on my shower- BZZAGENT review SCRUBBING BUBBLES MEGA SHOWER FOAMER

I cleaned my shower too! I have those awesome clear glass doors that have water spots and soap residue OFTEN and I've not found something that can keep the glass clean & clear! Well, the little Scrubbing Bubbles did a great job. They claim that the product is water activated and will continue cleaning for 4 days if water is applied. Here is the before:
I only sprayed the bottom half of the shower door on one side. You can even see the lines of soap scum, ewww:
Here is my after photo. The doors are closed and the clean one is on the left and the unclean one is on the right. The best part, I took this photo 4 days later, so now you can see that what you read is what you'll get! The worst part is that the spray dripped on my favorite True Religion jeans, and dried hard, like maybe I spilled something on my jeans when I was cooking or eating dinner but after a wash, it's bleached out. AGH!!!!!!!!:

I am pretty happy with the results. I had washed my dog in the tub, after a nice walk and lots of puddles. There is a nice smell. It's not overpowering. The spray is extra wide. Do not use on Acrylic, Brass or Natural Marble. As you spray it on to clean, keep shaking occasionally. What do you think?

I made this Coconut Rice tonight and it's TO DIE FOR! No one even suspected that I had snuck in coconut milk. While the Silk Soy/Coconut milk is higher in fat (6 grams a serving) than I prefer, it is healthier than other coconut juices out there!! Check this out & I MUST share!!
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 cup jasmine rice
1 ½ cups Silk Pure Coconut Original coconut milk
½ teaspoon salt
Toasted coconut flakes, to serve
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add rice and cook for 2 minutes. Add coconut milk and salt and bring to a boil. Stir, reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Cook for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork, garnish with toasted coconut and serve.
Calories 104; Fat 7g; Cholesterol 0mg; Sodium 304mg; Carbohydrates 10g; Fiber 1g; Sugars 2g; Protein 1g; Vitamin A 3% DV; Calcium 12% DV; Iron 2% DV.

I'm a sucker for yummy smelling rooms in my house. I love that I can plug in my air fresheners and they slowly release a smell. I purchased some refills last week and realized my AirWick wouldn't fit into my Glade plug in! Going from memory, I couldn't remember what brand I had plugged in, and I often stock up when the seasonal fragrances go on clearance. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the Glad Plug In I received fits Glade AND Air Wick warmers. Lucky for me, I have a warmer in my room that needed a refill, (No warmer was included in my bzzkit)! so I plugged in my "Crisp Waters" and am excited to drift away in my dreams tonight!

Great slogan! WE WORK HARD SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO! Semi-hard water and glass shower doors don't mix and again, I've tried pretty much everything on the planet with no long term luck. So, tomorrow, I'll spray this on and see what happens. I've tried this before, and felt that the can lasted 3 good shower cleanings in my shower and I felt it wasn't a good deal for $5.00/bottle. BUT this can is NEW & Improved and has a new "Extend-A-Clean" barrier that promises to last for 4 days & reactivate itself when the shower, tile, chrome, or glass gets wet. This also promises to leave a brilliant shine & have a large cover area. I'm concerned about the fumes, as many of these have lingering smells and I don't like to inhale after I clean. I'll keep you updated as I go!

Today I'm going to talk about the Toilet Bowl Cleaning Gel. Day One. Manufacturer information here .
I've used this in the past and didn't think it did the greatest job and it didn't smell very good. This gel is a light/almost clear blue & smells fresh! Following the directions:
The lid removes easily & you push the button in and it moves down to the next button & stops. Easy to apply. Then all you do is flush away! Our home was a new construction foreclosure and every toilet had ring around the toilet. I've tried EVERYTHING on the market to remove the rings, even filling them up with coca cola, but they're still there. I'm excited to run around my house & hit up the rest of the families flushers. When the gel disc disappears, I put another one in the toilet and keep flushing. So, clean the house, put the gel disc in everyones toilet, and flush away! I'll keep you updated on what happens.
