Soy Milk SILK - regular, vanilla, almond, cooking ideas BZZAGENT REVIEW

I'm taking the 10 day challenge of the SILK SOY MILK. You can click here and get a coupon off a half gallon of Soy Milk from SILK and join the 10 day challenge too!

My family is PICKY! I am not the greatest cook & don't enjoy cooking, but am always looking for ways to amp up my simple menu.  Here are some things I grabbed about soy milk from the website & my comments in bold red below the suggestions:
  • Eco-friendlier.

Did you know that producing one carton of milk requires 4X more water than producing one carton of Silk Soymilk?

    Lighten up.

Silk has 13 delicious varieties with 100 calories or less. Milk, not so much.

    More yum.

Milk just doesn't stack up when it comes to variety. Silk has 11 tempting flavors—it's hard to choose just one.

    Zero is hero.

Silk is made with your best health in mind. That's why every one of our products is completely cholesterol-free. (Unlike someone else we know.*)

Your new coffee crush. Silk Vanilla in a cup of Joe adds a sweet richness without any of the cholesterol you’d get with dairy creamers or milk.1 Almond and Soy are both delish – you pick. TRIED THIS. YEAH, DIDN'T LIKE IT VERY MUCH. I FELT THAT THE ALMOND SOY  MILK DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH FLAVOR IN MY COFFEE ALTHOUGH MY EXPECTATIONS WERE HIGH AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN LACK OF FLAVOR. MAYBE MY COFFEE WAS TOO STRONG?
  • Hot. Chocolate. Heaven. Warm up a glass of Silk Pure Almond® Dark Chocolate and enjoy an indulgent treat. Bonus? It’s got fewer calories than hot chocolate made with typical dairy milk. TRIED THIS ON MY PICKY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER & SHE DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE!! I ALTERED IT AND USED THE CHOCOLATE ALMOND SOY MILK + A PACKET OF HOT CHOCOLATE.
  • Looking for a meal for the whole family? Take your favorite quiche recipe and instead of cheese and dairy milk, load it up with lots of veggies and Unsweetened Silk (soy or almond) for an extra boost of nutrition.HAVEN'T TRIED MUCH COOKING WITH THE SILK SOY MILK, BUT THE COCONUT RICE IS AMAZING!
  • Magic Bran Muffins. Silk Pure Almond® adds a lot of flavor to all that fiber. These good-for-you muffins come out with the same great texture as muffins made with milk. MADE PUMPKIN BREAD & THE KIDS HAD NO IDEA! EVEN THE TEXTURE WAS THE SAME.
  • Do you like Pina Colada? Try this high-calcium version. Mix Silk Pure Coconut™ coconutmilk, pineapple juice and rum, then pour it over ice.YUM. EASY, HEALTHY. THE DOWNSIDE IS YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF CHILLING OUT AND DRINKING MORE THAN YOU NORMALLY DO.
  • Soylicious Smoothie. Meet your new favorite breakfast. Chocolate Silk Soymilk (Vanilla works, too), berries, banana and ice. Blend and enjoy. I ADD FRESH CUT ALMONDS TO MY SMOOTHIES & PROTEIN POWDER - THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT SWITCH & IT'S ALMOST CREAMIER!
  • Sit down for family brinner. Breakfast for dinner = Brinner! Try a little Silk Unsweetened Soymilk in scrambled eggs.I ADDED SOME ON SATURDAY TO MY EGG BREAKFAST. I DON'T ADD MUCH MILK, SO I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF THE NUTRITIONAL VALUE. BUT THEY WERE GOOD!
